American Pale Lager

Also called an "All-Malt Lager", these beers avoid the use of cereal adjuncts (mainly corn and rice) and use only malt in the brewing process. This style can be though of as kind of an American version of the Munich Helles Lager.

The use of all malt gives this beer a stronger biscuity pale malt flavor and aroma (sometimes a slight bump in hop bitterness and flavor is added as well) than the typical American Adjunct Lager. Typically a pale to golden yellow, these beers are light bodied and generally crisp and refreshing.

Best served cold, at 39-44 degrees and in a pint glass, pilsner glass, or beer mug.

Hoponius Union harmoniously combines lager yeast fermentation and West Coast IPA hops. Our India style Pale Lager is like a traditional IPA but with a twist - it’s fermented cold and aged for extended periods. A blend of classic American hops creates a huge tropical fruit and citrusy hop aroma.
