Description:
One of our many award-winning beers, Porter emphasizes the darker, roasted aspects of malt. Hints of dark chocolate and freshly roasted coffee provide the focus, while hops remain in the background. Not as full-bodied as a stout, Porter bridges the gap between malty brown ales and our more heavily roasted stouts. (Description provided by company)

Bell's Porter puts the coffee up front
Bell's Porter went into my pint glass quite dark, barely letting any light through when held up to a light. The beige head was disappointingly small, but stuck around for a really long time and left ample lacing on the glass.
I get mostly coffee when I smell with a bit of chocolate powder on the simplistic smell the porter gives off. Taste is stale coffee. Pretty straight forward and pretty good. Feels a bit thin, but not watery. I wish there was a bit more carbonation to excite my tongue a little.
I would select Bell's Porter if offered, but wouldn't hunt it down to purchase.
