Comments
Cream ale with bite
My sample of Below the Radar's Gravel Road was served in a purple Old Town Beer Exchange cup at the Mercury Rising Chili Fest, so I can't really judge the color. There is a white film that clings to the side of the cup.
I get mostly grapefruit when I sniff, but the sharper citrus notes seem muffled by something else.
Taste doesn't stray far from the aroma; the creamy finish keeps the grapefruit from making this seem like an IPA.
