Our interpretation of the classic Berliner Weisse style. A funky wheat ale with a refreshingly bright fruity sourness and tart finish. Just the thing for the summer heat in The South! (Description provided by company)

Good Berliner Weisse, but not particularly special
I've come to see Yazoo's Embrace the Funk series as funky, fun, and adventurous. While I like this release, it didn't impress me like other EtF bottles I've had before.
Berliner poured out a clear, straw yellow with ample carbonation despite the lack of a head.
Smell is sour and a vague citrusy sweetness. Taste is part pinot grigiot and part sour. I would gladly suggest this to a beerphobic white wine drinker. Very light body.
