Comments
Trappist Tripel
Chimay Cinq Cents was poured from the bottle a copper color with an off-white head which melted away a little faster than I expected.
Lots of plums, candied sugar, and a bit of booze in the nose. The taste is Belgian sugar, some grassiness, and what tastes of a blend of both dark and light fruits (lots of plums but also white grape). I don't usually associate tripels as having much dark fruit flavor.
