An IPA to Take Across the Ocean
Pours a clear golden amber with a substantial bubbly head. Head sticks around a while and leaves spotty lacing.
Nose consists mostly of hops of the fruity and citrus variety. A touch of piney in the aroma as well. Nice malt undertone.
Taste is, not surprisingly, very hop focused. A subtle caramel malt leads to grapefruit and floral hop flavor. Citrus lingers in a moderately long, but unobtrusive aftertaste.
Moderate mouth feel, but fairly high carbonation. Crisp and refreshing in the mouth.
A nice departure from the normal hop flavors found in most American IPAs - tasty and yet quite sessionable.
