Description:
A 5% ABV Dry Irish Stout (hence the DIS), DIS Lil' Lass has been a huge hit for STA and a boon to local and regional St. Paddy's Day celebrations. Light in body and immensely drinkable, it has notes of coffee and semi-sweet chocolate with a dry finish. Unlike the traditional version, whose coffee notes come strictly from the roast of the grain, this version benefits from a dash or two of gourmet java. (Description provided by company)

Black Coffee Beer
Bought a pint while hanging in the Straight to Ale taproom. The pint of Coffee Lass came to me with a tiny white cap on top of a black hole brew. Smell is coffee, smoke, and roasted malt. Coffee...straight black...is what I taste. The coffee lingered quite a bit after each drink. Feels medium bodied with enough carbonation to dissuade guzzling it. The strength of the coffee gave me college flashbacks and gave me cravings to smoke a couple of Camels in tribute.
