Comments
A f***ing great beer.
A deep reddish copper, with a half finger of an off white and bubbly head.
An assertive nose, with lots of herbal, spicy, and pine resin hop aromas. A little bit of a caramel malt does help provide a little sweetness as well.
A well balanced taste, with both the strong hop flavors and the bready and caramel malts both providing a nice counterpart to each other. The aftertaste is a little bit on the long side, but is still well balanced and not distracting.
A light body with moderate carbonation.
One of the most well balanced and flavorful Amber ales I've ever had, the Lagunitas Sucks certainly doesn't.
