Description:
Our "Velvet M-80" is a hefty, dry hopped double-red ipa with a nose full of aroma, a sticky mouthfeel, a malty middle and unctuous hop flavors. G'Knight sports a surprisingly sensuous finish for a beer of its size. It's brewed in tribute to a fellow Colorado craft beer pioneer and Vietnam vet who died fighting a 2002 wild fire outside of our Lyons hometown. (Description provided by company)

G'Knight, and have a pleasant tomorrow!
Pours out a cloudy and murky rust brown with a finger of an off white head.
Like any IPA, the hop aromas are anything but shy, but there is also a prominent (and nice) caramel and dark fruit sweetness. Hop aromas are citrus, resin and tropical fruit - it smells fresh and clean. The taste has loads of maltiness and a lots of the hop flavors - but only a moderate bitterness. A medium long finish and a barely noticeable alcohol note.
Although it's definitely got IPA levels of hop aroma and flavor, the strong and sweet malts really make this a very drinkable IPA (especially if you're used to high IBU IPAs) . So be warned, but pick up a six pack!
