Comments
Someone stole Paw Paw's peaches!
Paw Paw's Peach poured from the bottle a slightly hazy gold. Not as cloudy as I would expect a wheat beer. I smell grassy hops with peach rounding out that flavor. The peach seems to be completely missing in the taste; I get mostly grassy hops and bread. Paw Paw's Peach is on the lighter side of medium-bodied with a clean finish and mild aftertaste.
If this wasn't promoted as a peach beer, I'd think is was just a hoppy wheat ale. But since it is called a peach wheat, I gotta say it was very lackluster.
