Description:
Prince of Pilsen tributes the most popular beer style in the world. Originally brewed in the bohemian City of Pilsen in 1842, the new sensation was widely imitated and now makes up 90% of beer consumed around the globe. This Euro-style version is refreshingly crisp and dry hopped with Falconer’s Flight 7Cs for a distinct citrus aroma and bite. (Description provided by company)

Not my Style
3 Taverns’ Prince of Pilsen is, as the name might suggest, a pilsner style beer. It pours a light golden brown with a dense, whipped cream-like head. It smells strongly of citrus, due in part to the dry hopping the beer has undergone. It’s quite nice, as it blends well with the pilsner malt notes. The flavor is crisp and dry, but not bitter. I'm not familiar with the Pilsner style, so I can't compare this beer to others of its kind. However, it's hard for me to imagine a much better version of this. I could see this being something I reach for on a hot summer day but not much more than that. Ultimately though, that says more about the style than this particular entry into it.
