SweetWater Brewing Co.

Sweetwater Brewing Co.

Brief History and Information:

Sweetwater was started by some guys who met in Colorado and perfected their brewing skills in California who decided that Atlanta, Georgia needed West Coast style beers available locally.

The tasting room and tours are available from Wednesday through Sunday. Tours last about 20 minutes. For $10, you get to go on the tour, a souvenir pint glass, and depending on how the state law is interpreted, you may or may not get beer along with that ticket.

Slide into summer and step off the grid by Goin’ Coastal with this pineapple laced IPA. The bright aromas of the five citrus hop additions are accentuated by the tropical fruit of the pineapple – and just like those three day weekends, its finish is quick.

Oh me oh my… what did we do?

We fired up the skillet to 420°, tossed in a sizzling concoction of 2-row, Wheat, Pale Chocolate, Cara-Brown and Midnight Wheat, then added in a hefty dose of hop hash and other dank-ish-ish-ish fixin’s to scatter, smother and cover this baby all the way.

The flash of this spinnerbait stimulates the senses with its sweet malty currents and deep red hues. Our BA reels with fruity esters and spicy notes from the Ardennes yeast which swirl through the Belgian rock candy, casting the perfect presentation for the hops to set the hook on this big boy.
